Pattern Creation

Behind the scenes of the creation of our patterns

At La Petite Ourse, every design you discover on our products is the result of a meticulous, inspired, and collaborative creative process. We want to share with you the story behind these designs that enhance your daily life as a parent while meeting your needs.

From Sketch to Final Product

What does it involve as work?

Each design is the result of several hours of work. Some designs draw their inspiration from our daily lives. For example, the "Poulette" design was born from the chickens Agathe and David keep in their backyard.

This nod to our daily lives reflects the authenticity we aim to convey through our products. Because each diaper, each product, is designed with attention to detail and a deep respect for your needs as parents.

We want you to feel this connection with us through each design, to tell a story and bring a little joy into your daily life.

Thank you for joining us on this creative and family adventure! 🐻💕

We loved the idea that each parent could see what they wanted in it. Two little hearts, a family, bonds... Or just a reminder that love can be as cute and authentic as a child's drawing. No need to look far for inspiration when it's right in front of us.

So, "Cherry Heart" was born simply from a touch of fruity sweetness to celebrate love, every day of the year. Because with our little ones, it's always Valentine's Day.

The story behind the Flower pattern

The Fleur pattern was born from a mix of trends and unexpected moments, as is often the case in our creative process.

It all started in the middle of winter. It's always a bit ironic to work on summer patterns in the middle of the cold season, but it was the perfect timing to get everything ready on time.

This time, warm and vibrant colors, like burnt yellow, were among the trending palettes that inspired us. We wanted to create something that exuded warmth and simplicity. And that's when Florence, our graphic designer, thought of fields of flowers. A golden background perfectly captured the idea of a soft and luminous summer. After several attempts to find the right balance between the size of the flowers and the depth of the yellow, the pattern came to life.

Fleur is a nod to light and warmth, even if we were shivering while creating this pattern! 🌼
